Elementary education begins by building a strong foundation of faith and academics. We at JCA believe that the essential school subjects serve as vital tools for lifelong learning. We diligently focus on Bible study, phonics, spelling, reading, grammar, composition, mathematics, science, social studies, music, art, physical education, and computer science. Our kindergarten through Grade 6 classes are self-contained, apart from physical education and music, ensuring an organized and developmental sequence in the textbooks we utilize. The principles of scripture are intricately woven throughout the curriculum, offering an integrated educational experience.

For chapel, students in kindergarten through fifth grade engage in a 45-minute weekly program, which may include class drama presentations, singing, or talks from local youth pastors.

Recess is enjoyed by preschool through sixth grade classes for 30 minutes daily, weather permitting, allowing for playtime on the playground or the practice field.

We also promote a love of reading through various incentive programs, including the Pizza Hut Book-It Program, the Six Flags Read to Succeed Program, and in-class reading initiatives.
