Building a Strong Foundation…

The basic school subjects are the tools for the later life learning. JCA gives careful attention to Bible, phonics, spelling, reading, grammar, composition, mathematics, science, social studies, music, art, physical education and computer science. Kindergarten through Grade 6 is self-contained, with the exception of physical education and music. The textbooks used present subject content in an orderly, development sequence. The principles of scripture are the naturally woven into the subject content, thus providing an integrated approach to education.

Chapel:  Students in kindergarten through fifth grade participate in a 45 minute weekly chapel program. Other activities may include class drama presentations, singing, or talks from local youth pastors.

Recess: Preschool through sixth grade classes participate in recess for 30 minutes a day, weather permitting. This may include playtime on the playground or the practice field.
